There are 58 houses in total on a beautiful 3.5 acre property, where your cat can enjoy an eco-friendly environment.
At our cattery you will find a peaceful and loving environment for your cat whilst you are on holiday, moving house or whenever you need us – however long the stay.
We have been serving customers throughout East and West Sussex, Kent, Surrey and even Greater London for over 25 years. Please explore our website and feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
Our team of experienced and qualified staff have time to care for and play with our guests. All cats are visited throughout the day and extra attention is given to those who need/want it!
Standard mealtimes are kept, with feeds twice daily, or more regularly if required, for example for older cats and kittens this will be according to their needs.
Special diets are catered for. We are happy to discuss your requirements in advance.
Medication can be administered free of charge.
The individually designed houses are spacious and heated (at no extra charge).
Each house has its own outside run with shelving and scratching posts. Most have plants growing in/over for shade and enjoyment – just like being in the garden at home. The cats even have their own sunshades in the event of a nice hot summer!
We have 3 Large ‘family’ chalets for 3-4 cats sharing with a large patio area for them to enjoy.
Security corridors and double gates at each entrance provide extra peace of mind.
All bedding is provided but you are welcome to bring your pet’s favourite bed, cushion etc, and of course any toys and treats you wish to bring to help them feel at home.
Each additional cat sharing thereafter an extra £5.00 per day.
The rates for multiple cats assume shared accommodation. If more than one house is required then each will be charged at the appropriate rate.
We are happy to discuss long term boarding fees and your cat's requirements (6+weeks) should our customers be travelling abroad, moving home or may have medical issues to attend to.
Please note we do not require deposits upon booking. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or Bank Transfer upon collection. We do not accept any credit or debit cards. There is a 3 day minimum charge extending to 5 days during the Easter and Christmas period.

As of July 1st 2020 Beacon House Cattery will reopen and we look forward to seeing our returning customers and of course new customers.
General information
Due to the Corona virus outbreak, we are making changes to the way we operate to keep everyone safe at Beacon House. As much as we miss seeing you all, we will be minimising interaction with people. This obviously is a key to reducing risk.
The changes are as follows:
- To maintain social distancing and keep numbers to a minimum at one time, we currently aren't allowing drop ins. Please call to arrange your pickup/drop off or viewing in advance within the following hours below.
- Please limit yourselves to two people per drop off.
- Instead of meeting inside the office, please wait outside the office, were we will greet you with social distancing and collect your cat from this area.
- Owners will not be permitted inside the pen/chalet area.
- We will complete paperwork and gather the normal information on the cat beforehand over the phone or via email, rather than face to face.
- We will still need proof of your cat's up to date vaccinations.
- Payments will be limited to bank transfer to avoid handling cash and cheques, to coincide with the prevention of the spread of Corona.
